Summary of work: As Technical Lead for MDM (Master Data Management) and Data Governance, provide thought technical leadership in the implementation, enhancement, support and operation of Stibo (MDM) and Collibra (Data Governance). The candidate will collaborate with extended business, data, and IT teams to provide a unique business perspective on how data strategy, data governance, data quality, data definition and usage, and data management data can transform and improve the entire Wawa organization. This role combines strong facilitation skills and technical expertise, including identifying business needs, maturing capabilities and resourcing with the overall data strategy, architecture and tools in mind.

Main tasks :

  • Provide technical thought leadership in master data management, data governance, enterprise data management, enterprise content management and knowledge management strategy and implementation

  • Lead and support enterprise integrations (data, systems and processes) to and from Stibo and Collibra with the cooperation/coordination subject matter experts

  • Promote business integration as a formal discipline. For example, data integration will include data warehousing, data migration, data quality management, data integration for service oriented architecture deployments and data synchronization. Similar system integration will include common messaging services, virtualization of business services, etc.

  • Foster relationships with key business and IT stakeholders at appropriate levels. Consistently deliver quality services, generating high quality work products on time and on budget

  • Monitor progress, manage risks and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed of progress and expected results

  • Optimize enterprise-wide integration investments

  • Manage expectations of key business and IT stakeholders

  • Provide constructive feedback/coaching to team members

  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment

  • Adhere to enterprise standards EIM (Enterprise Information Management)

  • Adhere to IT security policies, standards and procedures

  • Research and implement new technologies to increase productivity and performance. Participate and provide feedback and guidance for tool selection.

Essential functions:

  • Understand Stibo’s architecture and configuration options and recommend the best implementation approach

  • Define and validate Stibo implementation logic to meet business requirements

  • Expert in defining, designing and configuring incoming and outgoing APIs (endpoints and interface protocols)

  • Excellent writing skills to help document technical specifications

  • Ability to create data maps and reconciliation documents

  • Excellent understanding of Stibo Web UI configuration options

  • Communicate clearly and logically with peers and managers regarding technical concepts in a non-technical manner

  • Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve Stibo configuration, code, data mapping, and logic issues

  • Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap, including strategic priorities for information-driven capability development

  • Serve as a liaison between business and functional areas and technology to ensure that business data requirements for the protection of sensitive data are clearly defined

  • Develop and maintain company information card inventory, including authoritative systems and owners

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise

  • Excellent writing skills to help document technical specifications

  • Excellent understanding of Collibra Governance workflows

  • Understand the architecture and configuration options of Collibra and recommend the best implementation approach

  • Define and validate Collibra implementation logic to meet business requirements and best practices

  • Ability to explain technical aspects of Stibo and Collibra directly to non-technical business stakeholders

  • Reduce technology total cost of ownership by leveraging technology investments across multiple projects

  • Proven self-starter with a demonstrated ability to make decisions within the scope of assigned work

Basic qualities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a technical discipline (e.g. engineering) preferred

  • 7+ years of hands-on design and development experience, including 3+ years working with major MDM tools, ideally Stibo

  • 7+ years of hands-on design and development experience, including 3+ years working with leading DG (data governance) and DQ (data quality) tools, ideally Collibra

  • 3+ years of technical leadership for MDM, DG and DQ projects

  • Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assets, and approaches related to data protection

  • Experience with Stibo Systems PIM modules

  • Experience with Structured Query Languages ​​(SQL), including PL-SQL, T-SQL and MSQL

  • Working knowledge of Stibo STEP v8.x, 9.x and 10.1
